About Chris

Chris has lived in the Germantown and Memphis areas for nearly 30 years now and attended local schools Houston High School in Germantown, TN and Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. He was a member of the varsity football and baseball teams at both the high school and NCAA Div III levels along the way. After completing undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rhodes College, Chris earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN in 2002, graduating with highest honors in his class.

His clinical rotations as part of the Belmont Physical Therapy program allowed him to study and practice at various settings around the country, including a two-month rotation at the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY working with both cadets on campus and active duty soldiers and staff at the Keller Army Community Hospital. After completing his graduate degree, Chris worked with the Lexington Clinic Sports Medicine Center in Lexington, KY for three years prior to moving back to Memphis.

Chris has worked in the outpatient orthopedic rehab setting for fifteen years overall and has experience working with most all aspects of orthopedic rehab. He finds it particularly rewarding to help people achieve their previous level of function and activities after injury or surgery in this setting. Chris is a patient advocate and enjoys helping others to feel better and perform better every day.

Outside of work Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and son as much as possible. Recreational activities include golf, occasional church basketball leagues, and running and resistance training when able in the ever-present pursuit of health and wellness.
